Our bodies are meant to move. But we all have different physical and emotional backgrounds; and those backgrounds–our personal stories–impact how and why we move. This means that your optimal alignment is going to look different than mine. My aim as a yoga teacher is to help create a space where you not only move well but also learn. You learn about your body through the movement. You learn about your mental habits through observing how you move. Whether we work privately, in a group class, or you are a teacher who wants to learn more about the body and your teaching style, I want to create an environment where you feel empowered by and through your own experience.
I teach the LYT Yoga Method which was created by a physical therapist and focuses not only on alignment but how well your brain and body are communicating with each other. This allows me to work well with many different demographics. I work with athletes, individuals interested in practicing privately, groups, and more.
